Deputies seek two men in Ford pickup

Deputies from the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office are looking for two white men in a late-model gray Ford pickup truck in connection with an attempted residential burglary on Thursday evening (April 17).

The burglary, which took place in the 14600 block of Skyline Boulevard in the community of Kings Mountain, ended when the men caught sight of the resident.

The pair fled the home and headed west on Tunitas Creek Road in a stolen truck, possibly a Ford F-150 or F-250, according to a county bulletin.

Authorities describe the men as being 25 to 30 years old, one with a red beard. One reportedly wore "a black jacket and blue jeans."

Deputies advise that anyone seeing men matching these descriptions call 911 or 650-363-4911, but refrain from approaching them.
