Menlo/Atherton Boy Scout Troop 206 will serve its annual pancake breakfast fundraiser, which will include pancakes, sausages, fruit, juices, coffee and tea. Friends of the Palo Alto Library will hold its next monthly sale of thousands of gently used books and media. On Saturday, the children's and bargain's book rooms will open early at 10 a.m., with the other rooms opening at 11 a.m. On Sunday, the bargain room will be 50 percent off, or $5 per bag. As part of this 16th annual event organized by the Sustainable Living Foundation, community members can run in a race, donate, volunteer or enter their artwork into an exhibit.
