Friday Farmers Market
The Oshman Family JCC is now home to its own weekly certified farmers market. Local food trucks are in attendance each week. Fridays, year-round, noon-5 p.m. Free. Oshman Family JCC, Jessica Lynn Saal Town Square, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto.

Woodside First Friday Series
This Woodside First Friday Series event will bring together local winemakers -- Martella Wines, WLButler Family Cellars, Michaud Vineyards and Woodside Vineyards -- for a tasting. Attendees must be over age 21. Proceeds benefit the Woodside Arts and Cultural Committee. Nov. 7, 6:30-8:15 p.m. $20 individual, $30 couple suggested donation. At this monthly event, the Garden Court Hotel will offer a six course pre fixe menu with cocktails and wine pairings. The chef will speak about each course, sharing his ideas and resources. Tied House NFL 2014 Season

This weekly, year-round farmers market in Portola Valley will offer farmstead meat, chicken, eggs, organic veggies, fruits and juices, wild and local seafood, fair trade coffee, gluten-free baked goods, pastas, sauces, olives, honey, jams, pickles, jerky, local breads and pastries, hot Roli Roti chicken and more.
