Rengstorff Arts Festival
The Rengstorff House is hosting a month-long show with fine art by local artists including works in watercolor, oil, glass and photography. Juried student art from the Community School of Music and Arts Art4Schools program is featured. Aug. 2-30, Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, 1-4 p.m. Free. Rengstorff House, 3070 N. 'Iron Rose'
Joseph Najera, an artist working mostly in wrought iron to create wall pieces and candle holders, shares some of his artwork in an exhibit called "Iron Rose." Aug. 4-30, Tuesday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, noon-4 p.m. Free. Gallery 9, 143 Main St., Los Altos.

'Something New and Different'
Linda Tapscott shares some of her artwork made from wire -- including birds' nests and colorful three-dimensional shapes -- in a show called "Something New and Different" at Konditorei cafe in Ladera. Mostly 3D Art Exhibit

'Dichotomy'
Gallery House will next be home to an exhibit of mixed-media and watercolor paintings by artists Nance Wheeler and Patricia Nojima, entitled "Dichotomy: Abstracted Science and Lyrical Landscapes." In the show "Favorite Places and New Beginnings," Nancy Wulff will share new watercolor paintings that provide impressions of the beauty and essence of their subjects. 'Impressions' by Jared Sines
The Portola Art Gallery will present a selection of Jared Sines' oil paintings of places and still lifes, "Impressions."
