'Science, Technology and the Future of Art' and more
The Pacific Art League will hold two new exhibits in November: "Science, Technology & the Future of Art," and a solo mixed-media exhibit called "Rosine Ferber - Playful Vision." 'Beauty of Wood Fire' by Misako Kambe
The Portola Art Gallery will have on display an exhibit called "Beauty of Wood Fire," composed of carved ceramic creations by Menlo Park artist Misako Kambe. Tove Norlander and Merrie Asimow exhibit
Bay Area artists Merrie Asimow and Tove Norlander will have their work on display at Gallery 9 in Los Altos. Asimow will contribute her photography of white horses, landscapes and nature, while Norlander will share her jewelry that combines natural stones with silver and gold. Foothill College will have on display an exhibit called "Wanderlust," composed of rich travel photography by Sunnyvale-based artist Harlan Crowder. December Exhibitions at Pacific Art League
Pacific Art League in Palo Alto will hold three new exhibitions in December: "Winter Wonder," a juried exhibition curated by Lisa Ellsworth; a special "Small Works Holiday Sale & Celebration"; and a solo exhibit of work by Isaias Sandoval. 'Holiday Show' at Gallery House
The "Holiday Show" at Gallery House will feature art gifts in different mediums at a variety of price points. Pieces will include paintings, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, fabric and photography. A champagne reception will be held on Nov. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m., during which there will be a 20 percent discount on art. Hours will be extended in December.
