'Luminous Essays'
The Caldwell Gallery will have on display "Luminous Essays," an exhibit of works by fine art photographers from the Peninsula Photographic Arts Guild. July 2-Sept. 3, 5 a.m.-5 p.m. Free. Caldwell Gallery, 400 County Center at the Hall of Justice, Redwood City.


'Fearless Genius'
The Computer History Museum will have on display a photography exhibit by Doug Menuez called "Fearless Genius: The Digital Revolution in Silicon Valley, 1985-2000." It consists of 50 photographs documenting innovators at Apple, Kleiner Perkins, Adobe and other companies. Wednesday-Sunday, July 9-Sept. 7, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. $15 general; $12 student/senior/military. Foothill College Fall Quarter registration
Foothill College Fall Quarter registration will be open on the school's website beginning July 21. Classes will run from Sept. 22 to Dec. 12. Students are encouraged to register early for the best course selection. July 21-Sept. 22. $31/unit for California residents, plus basic fees. Silicon Valley Tour de Coop preparation
Neighbors Helping Neighbors will hold a variety of volunteer activities leading up to and during the Silicon Valley Tour de Coop, a bike ride between chicken coops and home gardens on Sept. 21. Volunteer opportunities include putting up fliers and posters, doing test bike rides, organizing other small events to spread the word and staffing locations on tour day. The organization also seeks community members with chicken coops, beehives and home gardens to host stops. June-September, dates and times vary. Free. 'Huangshan and Zhangjiajie, China'
The exhibit "Huangshan and Zhangjiajie, China: Photographs of Land and Culture" will be on display at the Krause Center for Innovation. June 23-Sept. 26, center hours. Free. Krause Center for Innovation, 12345 El Monte Road, Building 4000, Los Altos Hills.


La Comida volunteer opportunities
The La Comida Senior Lunch Program has various volunteer opportunities available, including helping to welcome and serve seniors, translate, assist with special programs and do community outreach. 'Mothers & Daughters Relationships'

Minds in Motion classes
Peninsula Volunteers will offer these classes as part of its early memory loss wellness program, designed for those experiencing changes in memory or other cognitive impairments. Palo Alto Scrabble Club

For the Love of Dance classes
For the Love of Dance offers training in ballet, jazz, tap and other styles of dance.
