Marine Science Camp
The Marine Science Institute is hosting a camp that offers hands-on activities, live animals and educational field trips including a day aboard the Marine Science Institute research vessel. Exhibits

'Stonewalled in Jerusalem'
Santa Cruz mixed media artist Sara Friedlander will have on display her visually arresting and socially focused artwork, which contemplates the Israeli/Palestinian impasse. Using original and archival images, she explores both sides and welcomes viewers' ideas about moving forward. May 16-August 25, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Free. Oshman Family JCC, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto.

'Capturing Light'
"Capturing Light: The World as We See It" is a judged exhibit and sale of 50 prints by members of the Palo Alto Camera Club, including 12 photos taken in Havana, Cuba. A percentage of proceeds from print sales will go to Cultural Kaleidoscope, a City of Palo Alto program supporting art in local schools. Monday-Friday, March 10-August 28, 8 a.m.-noon; 1-5 p.m. Free. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has been helping people around the world to improve their communication and leadership skills.
